Except where otherwise stated, these buses arrived in April 1941, after the Holy Week air raids. There was no conflict between the Bolton TD3 fleet numbers and existing Coventry Corporation fleet numbers and so the original fleet numbers were retained. 78 was originally on hire to London Passenger Transport Board. The rest were originally on hire to BMMO (Midland Red).
