  • "All passengers alight here" just beyond Charity Road;
  • Bus reversed into Charity Road, then turned right into Somers Road for layover and pick-up.

Service 16A terminated at the Shepherd and Shepherdess.  Probable terminus details from road layout:

  • Bus turned round roundabout for layover and pick-up outside the Shepherd and Shepherdess.

A special service ran beyond the Shepherd and Shepherdess along Tamworth Road to Keresley Hospital four times per day.  Known terminus details from the recollection of former CCT employees:

  • "All passengers alight here" just beyond Hospital Drive;
  • Bus reversed into Hospital Drive for layover and pick-up.  Alternatively, bus pulled forward and reversed into Long Lane, then turned right into Tamworth Road for layover and pick-up immediately prior to Hospital Drive.

Broadgate to Green Lane

From Broadgate via Hertford Street, Warwick Road, Kenilworth Road, Kenpas Highway and Green Lane, to the terminus at Droylesdon Park Road. ; Probable terminus details from road layout:

Notes on the service to and from Broadgate

On Monday to Friday between 10.00 am and 3.30 pm and on Sunday between 1.00 pm and 6.00 pm the service ran in a double zig-zag pattern:

(a) Green Lane - Shepherd and Shepherdess - Broadgate - Keresley Village - Green Lane

(b) Green Lane - Shepherd and Shepherdess - Broadgate - Shepherd and Shepherdess - Green Lane

The result was that, during those hours, all services from Keresley village ran directly through to Green Lane, but no services from Green Lane ran directly to Keresley village.  Outside of those hours there were some direct through services in both directions.  During those hours, alternate services from Keresley ran through to Green Lane and every fourth service to Keresley ran through to Keresley Village.

In peak hours and on Saturdays, all services from Keresley ran through to Green Lane and alternate services to Keresley ran through to Keresley village.  In the evenings, alternate services from Keresley ran through to Green Lane and every third service to Keresley ran through to Keresley village.
