Service 14 Anti-clockwise from Coventry Railway Station

From Coventry Railway Station via Park Road, Ring Road, London Road, Gulson Road, Binley Road, Walsgrave Road, Swan Lane,Harnall Lane East, Harnall Lane West, Springfield Road, Eagle Street, Foleshill Road, Cash's Lane, Widdrington Road, Sandy Lane, Lydgate Road, Lawrence Saunders Road, Moseley Avenue, Holyhead Road, Queen Victoria Road, Stoneleigh Terrace and Eaton Road back to the station.  Probable details at Coventry Station:

  • Bus stop and layover on North side of Eaton Road at a dedicated stop labelled "14 via Gosford Green".

Service 14A Clockwise from Coventry Railway Station

Reverse route except the service made a circuit between the Ring Road and via St Patrick's Road,Park Road, Manor Road and St Patrick's Road.  Probable details at Coventry Station:

  • Bus stop and layover on North side of Eaton Road at a dedicated stop labelled "14A via Rialto".

Barras Lane, Rialto Theatre, Sandy Lane (either end), Five Ways, Jeffrey Wood's Cross, Gosford Green and London Road.

1962

The Drill Hall, Barras Lane, The Holyhead Hotel, Matterson Road, Sandy Lane (Daimler), Cash's Lane, Five Ways, Brett's Works, Jeffrey Wood's Cross, junction of Swan Lane with Walsgrave Road, junction of Binley Road with Gulson Road, Gulson Hospital and Parkside.

History of the Route

November 1934

Introduced as a new service to and from Coventry Railway Station in both directions. ; The clockwise route was Eaton Road, Stoneleigh Terrace, Queen Victoria Road, Holyhead Road, Mosely Avenue, Lawrence Saunders Road, Lydgate Road, Sandy Lane, Widdrington Road, Cash's Lane, Foleshill Road, Eagle Street, Springfield Road, Howard Street, Stoney Stanton Road, Harnell Lane East, Swan Lane, Gosford Green, Gulson Road, London Road, Short Street, Parkside, Quinton Road, Park Road and back into Eaton Road.

November 1955

Eaton Road became one-way. ; The clockwise route was renumbered 14A, returning from Coventry Railway Station via Manor Road and St Patrick's Road.

June 1962

Both services diverted between Park Road and Gulson Road via new Ring Road and London Road.
