Coventry's Other Buses

The details of buses described in this section have been assembled mainly from information described by Denton and Groves [1,2], with other details extracted from Peter Gould [3]. Other information sources have also been used to verify specific details, chiefly T W Moore [4], A A Townsin [5] and Roger Bailey [6].

Coventry Corporation bought buses from eight other manufactures. In the pre-war and post-war years, with the exception of the Leyland Atlanteans, all but a small number were single deckers. However, during the war, the Corporation had to accept what was offered through the Ministry of Supply.
