Works Services to Keresley Colliery

When the Binley pit-head closed, all the Coventry seams were worked from Keresley, which became known as Coventry Colliery.  Although there was a local Colliery estate at Keresley, other mine workers would have been housed on estates such as Wood End.  By 1962, the works service to Alderman's Green was augmented by routing some buses to Wood End.
