Works Services to CCT Works

Coventry Corporation acquired the Keresley Works in Watery Lane in 1942. It had previously been a Government factory building. The works became the centre of operations for bus repair and refurbishment, although minor works continued at Harnall Lane after the post-air raid rebuilding. Because of its remote location, it justified a works service of its own.
