The route from Grayswood Avenue followed the Service 7 route to Moseley Avenue, where it turned left to follow the Inner Circle route as far as Cash's Lane, after which its route was shared with the other Alfred Herbert Service to the Edgwick works. It then went forward to the other works in red Lane.
From Red Lane via Stoney Stanton Road, Cross Road, Foleshill Road, Queen Mary's Road, Durbar Avenue, Lockhurst Lane, Kingfield Road, Widdrington Road, Sandy Lane, Lydgate Hill, Lawrence Saunders Road, Moseley Avenue, Holyhead Road and Grayswood Avenue to the Service 1 terminus at Westbury Road.
Pre-1961, the route from Cross Road to Durbar Avenue appears to have been via Foleshill Road and Churchill Avenue.
