Bell Green Terminus

Tram 43 stands at the Bell Green terminus with its trolley already turned, waiting to depart for its return journey to Allesley Road (now known as the Allesley Old Road).  The tramcar was photographed from the North side of Old Church Road.  On an old map dating from the time of the steam tramway, Old Church road was originally called Chapel Lane.  On the same map, Lythalls Lane was named as Foleshill Hall Lane.  Foleshill Depot lay between the two and occupied 0.77 acres.
