An early photograph of Tram 9 at the Stoke terminus, adjacent to Bull's Head Lane. The tram is in the livery of Coventry Electric Tramways Company and may date from 1905, soon after the Earlsdon to Stoke service commenced. It was one of five cars originally delivered as trailers in 1898 and converted to power cars in 1904. It re-used the electrical equipment of the original Tram 9, which was itself converted in 1898 from a steam tram trailer dating back to 1885.
