Bell Green Road

Tram 52 stands in the passing loop at Navigation Bridge in Bell Green Road, en route to the Bell Green terminus.  This picture was taken in May 1940 and the driver is Ernie Parnell, who was the conductor in the 1905 picture.  The photograph was taken on the occasion of Ernie's last working day before he retired.  Tram 73, on the other arm of the passing loop, is on its way to Broadgate.
